A Portrait Series Featuring Immigrants and Refugees Who Call Nashville Home

About

In honor of World Refugee Day on June 20th, Siloam Health is proud to premiere Faces of Nashville, a special portrait and story series in partnership with world-renowned photographer Jeremy Cowart. Featuring 10 individuals from all over the world, Faces of Nashville tells their stories through distinctive portraits and first-hand accounts, revealing their unique journey as immigrants and refugees.

The stories you will read here begin in countries across the globe—from Burma and Bhutan to Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of Congo—and continue to the heart of Music City as our neighbors from all over the world build a life in their American home. Each person’s account is unique and is just one of thousands that have touched Siloam. We are honored to share these stories with you and hope that you will be inspired by the incredible journey of some of Nashville’s diverse community.
